I am studying in Dublin, Ireland, for three months as a part of my education. I am studying at Griffith College, where I also live at campus with three other girls from UCN.
We take Microeconomics and Information and Communications Technology. In both courses we have really helpful teachers, and in our class there are people from more than 15 countries. Before going to Dublin, I thought it would be a challenge to do courses in English, but I think it has worked out just fine.
Every week we also have tutorials for each course, where we make exercises and that is a good help.
Besides studying, we have been travelling around Ireland, to see the beautiful country. We have been on a trip arranged by the Students Union, where we saw Wicklow Mountains. We also went to the Westside of the island where we saw Galway and Cliffs of Moher. In Dublin we have taken a hop-on hop-off bus trip to go sightseeing.
My aim of this stay was to develop both professionally and personally, and to improve my English. So far I have enjoyed the stay and I think I have learnt a lot by doing this semester outside of my comfort zone.
I definitely believe I can use all my new knowledge in both my future education and job.
