DO YOU WANT TO BECOME AN EXPERT TEACHER? DO YOU WANT TO PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE?

Please note: we accept exchange students for a range of English taught courses and we arrange teaching practice in placement schools for incoming exchange students. The full degree programme is taught in Danish

In the Teacher Education programme you have the opportunity to create your own teacher profile. You can target your studies at teaching young or older pupils, and you can specialise in the subjects in which you prefer to teach.

The study programme combines discipline-specific and pedagogical subjects. This means that you will acquire knowledge of the subjects you will be teaching in the future and that you will learn how to impart discipline-specific knowledge to children of different ages. You will do work placements in schools a number of times during the course of your studies.

Most Bachelors of Education are employed in public primary and lower secondary schools, private schools, independent lower secondary boarding schools and special schools. However, the knowledge and qualifications you acquire in the course of your studies can be applied in many other places as well. Many graduates teach in folk high schools, vocational schools and production schools.
