Exchange students

The Department of Midwifery receives international students in the spring- and autumn semester for clinical education due to both uncomplicated- and complicated pregnancies, childbirths and postnatal periods.

We recommend that international students have completed at least the first year of their midwifery education, including a period at a delivery ward before they can apply. For international students the communication is as a starting point English; Nordic languages can be used.

Clinical education will take part at one of our seven clinical placements at high- specialized hospitals in North Denmark- and Central Denmark Region.

At each clinical placement we have Clinical teaching Midwives, who take care of the clinical education of both Danish and international midwifery students. Besides, we connect the international students to a buddy/student midwife.

When it comes to accommodation, we will try to help you finding a studio or something like that. Sometimes we have to refer to the private marked of accommodation.

We receive exchange students from Erasmus, Nordplus programs and other partner universities for clinical training in shorter periods.
