About the programme

The 3½-year physiotherapy programme has an annual intake of 150 students and includes 7 semesters with different themes and topics.

The theoretical part is equivalent to 168 ECTS points, of which the elective part amounts to 20 ECTS points and the bachelor project to 20 ECTS points. The clinical part is equivalent to 42 ECTS points.

Inter professional elements amount to 20 ECTS points and are integrated in the programme in both clinical and theoretical study and learning activities with main emphasis on clinical education.

Elective elements are offered continuously throughout the first two years of the programme and comprise in-depth courses, international courses, special toning of semester projects equivalent to 2-5 ECTS points. At the 7. semester, 10 ECTS elective courses. 

1. semester

Physiotherapy, profession and learning: 20 ECTS.

Basic physiotherapy examination and clinical reasoning: 20 (1 clinic) ECTS.

2. semester

Basic physiotherapy examination, clinical reasoning and diagnosing: 10 (4 clinic).              

Physiotherapy interventions focusing on  movement analysis and physical activity: 20 ECTS.

 

3. semester

Physiotherapy examination, clinical reasoning, diagnosing, treatment and exercise: 20 ECTS.

Health promotion- and prevention in physiotherapy: 10 ECTS.

 

4. semester

Clinical reasoning and decision making in treatment, exercise and rehabilitation: 30 (12 Clinic) ECTS.

5. semester

Health promotion- and prevention in physiotherapy: 10 ECTS

Physiotherapy examination, clinical reasoning, diagnosing, treatment and exercise: 20 (10 Clinic) ECTS  

6. semester

Advanced physiotherapy reasoning and decision making in physiotherapy interventions: 30 (15 clinic) ECTS

7. semester

Self employed and critical professions practice and development: 30 ECTS
