Architectural Technology and Construction Management
The ATCM programme is business oriented, interdisciplinary and practice-based
This means that you will learn how to solve specific problems – in your day to day studies as well as during your work placement on the 6th semester.
The work placement connects your theoretical and practical qualifications and adds to developing professionally oriented competencies that are in demand in current and future work places.
Through your work placement, you will gain a valuable insight into what your role will be when you enter the labour market as a graduated Architectural Technologist and Construction Manager.
After your work placement is over, you will prepare your elective project and your Bachelor project. Both will usually take a starting point in your work placement and be prepared in collaboration with your work placement company.
You may go on a work placement in one or more companies during the work placement, which makes up 20 weeks. Furthermore, the work placement may take place abroad.
At UCN we have a range of contacts with work placement companies in Denmark, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Vietnam, England and the US (San Francisco).
We are currently working to expand our list of work placement companies in Vietnam in particular. Here is a few from our list that is waiting to host you as their intern in Vietnam.
Where ever you choose to go for your work placement it will be planned in close collaboration with the work placement co-ordinator.
The school has a database of potential work placement companies – however, it is ultimately your own responsibility to find an work placement company.
