Tuition fee (non-EU/EEA citizens)

National criteria determine that some non-EU/EEA citizens are entitled to receive a fully state-funded education. All non-EU/EEA citizens who do not meet those criteria must pay tuition fees.

Application fee (non-EU/EEA citizens) 

If you are a national of a country outside the EU/EEA (non-EU/EEA citizen), or if you hold a qualification from a country outside the EU/EEA, you must pay an application fee.

UCN will process your application once we have received your payment. Please note that the amount of the fee has not yet been determined. When we know the amount of the fee, it will be stated here on this page.

The master's degree rule

According to the master's degree rule, applicants who have completed a master's degree can only be admitted to a new higher education degree programme if that programme has available places.

The master's degree rule applies to applicants who have completed a master's degree in or outside Denmark.

Individual concrete assessment (IKV)

If you do not satisfy the entry requirements for the particular programme that you want to apply to, you can apply for an individual concrete assessment (IKV) On the basis of your documented qualifications, skills and knowledge, UCN will assess whether your competencies can be considered equivalent to the formal admission requirements for that particular study programme.

Re-admission / re-registration

You can apply for re-admission / re-registration if you were previously a student in the programme either at UCN or at another higher education institution that also provides that study programme.

Admission through quota 1 and quota 2
